2011 Import Quotas for Cotton already Allocated

According to China Cotton Association, the 2011 import quotas for cotton have been allocated to related enterprises, including 894KT of tariff rate quota and 1700KT of sliding scale duty quota. The volume was 700KT higher than the same period last year. More import quotas may be allocated later this year according to actual situation such as the price trends and the transportation of Xinjiang cotton.
