Spandex Market Morning Express (Dec 30, 2010)

In Guangdong, spandex price is different, ruling price of 40D is pegged at 60000-62000yuan/mt. Spandex traders and weaving plants take strong cautious sentiment. Some producers trade at 5000yuan/mt lower in large amount deal.

In Fujian, O/R of circular knitting plants gradually declines. Sales of spandex 20D and 40D are a bit weak. Ruling price of 20D and 40D is pegged at 80000-82000yuan/mt and 60000-62000yuan/mt, respectively. 1000-2000yuan/mt higher is in some cargoes.

In East China, O/R of braid and lace plants slightly declines. Purchasing pace to coarse-denier spandex eases somewhat. Ruling price of 420D or above is pegged at 56000-57000yuan/mt, with higher at 63000yuan/mt. Meanwhile, spandex 140D for lace knitting is traded at 55000-57000yuan/mt.
