CPL & Nylon 6 Chip Market Morning Express (Dec 30, 2010)

On USD spot market, inquiry is relatively active. Discussions are at around $2950/mt. Sellers are still holding cargos and the bids are at $2930-2940/mt. Traded prices edge up gradually. Most deals were done at $2930-2950/mt so far this week. Now the sellers are still reluctant to sell at the level.

On RMB spot market, most sellers are holding cargoes. Large lots were traded at 24000yuan/mt previously, now the sellers are reluctant to sell at the level. Small lots are discussed at 24300-24500yuan/mt.

Nylon 6 chips
In East China, bright conventional spinning chips are offered at 25600-25800yuan/mt, ex-works and traded at 25500-25600yuan/mt. Producers hold tight to their goods.

In Mid China, bright conventional spinning chips are offered at 25200yuan/mt with semi-dull high speed spinning chips and conventional spinning chips at 25500yuan/mt by cash, ex-works, up by 200yuan/mt. But inventory increases a bit.
