Cotton Market Prices Rebounds Slower (Dec 16-31, 2010)

Spot cotton prices continued to rebound on Chinese market in H2 Dec and the sales improved slightly. ZCE cotton was a little weak with adjustments. ICE cotton firstly hiked to limit up and touched historical high of $1.5912 per pound but it later dropped for five straight sessions due to profit taking.

With cotton price rebounding, the price spread with PSF enlarged. Meanwhile, cotton prices again became higher than VSF prices.
