PP&PP Fiber Market Summary (Dec 16-31, 2010)

PP:　In last two weeks, the overall PP market kept consolidating in weakness. Although crude oil prices moved up, PP market remained weak and suppliers continued to focus on selling goods. The transactions kept slack as downstream demand maintained dull. The mainstream price of T30S in East China was at around 12300yuan/mt while the prevailing price of PP powder in Shandong was at 11250-11450yuan/mt.

PP fiber:　PP fiber market continued to keep stable in weakness. PP staple fiber plants with decreasing operating rate offered stably while PP filament yarn plants with unsmooth sales reduced ex-work prices. The market prices mainly kept stable with modest transactions.
