*CCF Dissolving Pulp Price Introduction
Pulp
Cotton linter price hovered at a high level lately, which led to high processing cost of cotton linter pulp, so most pulp mills did not run with high operating rates coupled with influence of environmental protection. Now the higher quotation for high-quality staple-grade cotton linter pulp was pegged at 20000yuan/mt, against traded price at 19000yuan/mt. Prices of off-grade products were slightly lower.
Viscose staple fiber
VSF market witnessed moderate sales today. The higher quotation for VSF 1.5D rose to 26000-26200yuan/mt but high-priced goods could rarely find buyers. Some deals were discussed at 25700yuan/mt with favorable transactions.
Viscose filament yarn
Fine-denier VFY sales kept improving. First, second and third-grade bright VFY 120D was mainly discussed at 52000yuan/mt, 50000yuan/mt and 48000yuan/mt, respectively. Downstream plants were more active to replenish stocks before Lunar New Year.
