Turkey : Akin Tekstil Posts Q1 Profit Jump As Sales Soar

 Leading Turkish textile and apparel maker Akin Tekstil posted a sharp rise in first quarter net profit to $2 million from $1.3m in the year-ago period.

The 43-year-old company, whose products include simple, dyed yarn and dyed fibre fabrics for ladies', men's and children's apparel products, said in a statement sales surged to $32.6m from $23m in the year prior.
