China posted a 10.3 percent year-on-year growth in 2010 gross domestic product (GDP) to 39.8 trillion yuan, with the growth rate up 1.1 percentage points from 2009, according to the National Bureau of Statistics.
The GDP rose 11.9 percent in the first quarter, 10.3 percent in the second quarter, 9.6 percent in the third quarter and 9.8 percent in the fourth quarter.
The primary industry recorded a 4.3 percent year-on-year increase in value-added to 4.05 trillion yuan, the secondary industry posted a 12.2 percent year-on-year increase in value-added to 18.65 trillion yuan while the value-added for the tertiary industry climbed 9.5 percent year-on-year to 17.10 trillion yuan.
