ACN plants kept stable operation, their spot supply was limited. Spot market remained soft and mainstream prices stayed flat. Supply of Feb-Mar shipments tended tight and traders became reluctant to sell. Enquiries were active and offers were increasing.
Cotton type ASF 1.5D: 23,300-23,800yuan/mt
ASF 3D: 23,000-23,450yuan/mt
Acrylic tow 3D: 23,150-23,700yuan/mt
Acrylic top 3D: 24,050-24,700yuan/mt by cash, ex-East China
Major fiber plants settled Jan acrylic fiber contracts, generally flat. Some announced new offers at relatively high level. Acrylic fiber transactions have gradually slowed down. But some downstream plants continued to build up stocks as they held a bullish sentiment about market outlook.
