China : Textile, Garment Exports Reach $21.3bn In Early 03

China's textile and apparel exports soared 27 per cent year-on-year in the first four months of 2003 to $21.3 billion, industry data revealed on Wednesday.

Figures from the China National Textile Industry Council showed g arment exports jumped 25 per cent with textile exports up 32 per cent in the January to April period amid rising orders from the US, Japan and Hong Kong.
