Crude oil prices continued to surge obviously, which supported PP costs but could hardly push PP prices up as downstream demand remained weak. Suppliers with steady sentiment still focused on selling goods and kept stable offers, but transaction volumes did not increase obviously.
In North China, offers were stable with tolerable enquires but still slack transactions. Material sources were limited and suppliers offered firmly. T30S was offered at 12100yuan/mt.
In East China, prices tend stable and the mainstream price of T30S was at 12300yuan/mt. Transactions kept slump and wait-and-see atmosphere was heavy.
In South China, the market mainly kept stable and the prevailing price of T30S was at 12450yuan/mt. Suppliers were active to sell goods and prices could be discussed in transactions.
PP fiber market maintained and PP high-tenacity industry yarn 600D was offered at 12600-12800yuan/mt in East China.
