HONG KONG, March 11 - Hong Kong's index of industrial production rose by 3.5 percent in 2010, the Census and Statistics department said on Friday.
Textiles output was down 8.4 percent and the output of metal, computer, electronic and optical products, machinery and equipment rose by 9.9 percent.
Food, beverages and tobacco output increased 6.3 percent while paper products, printing and reproduction of recorded media output was up 1.5 percent.
Production of wearing apparel was down 12.2 percent.
