Xiangyang textile industry aspires to realize an average 24.5% of projected annual

Xiangyang, major textiles manufacturing base of Hubei province, recently rolled out a Xiangyang 12th FYP Industrial Development Plan, aspired to realized a projected annual growth of 24.5%. By the end of the 12th FYP, textile industrial output of Xiangyang will seek to reach over 50 billion CNY.

Highlighted industries including spinning, printing &dyeing, garment-making and chemical fiber will be primarily developed. A national chemical fiber manufacturing base will be constructed and upmarket garment fabrics and interior decorative fabrics for autos will all be produced.
