China Spandex Market Daily (Mar 17, 2011)

Spandex 20D: 81,000yuan　
Spandex 30D: 70,000yuan　
Spandex 40D: 61,000yuan

Currently, spandex 20D price　was pegged at 80000-82000yuan/mt, with lower at 78000yuan/mt. Spandex 30D and 40D price was pegged at 70000yuan/mt (higher at 72000yuan/mt) and 60000-62000yuan/mt, respectively.

Spandex sales
Spandex sales were slack and downstream plants' offer-take situation hasn't improved favorably. Bearish seniment became stronger.

Downstream market
Despite of enhancing O/R, downstream plants' consuming abilty remained weak due to soft offer-take. In particular, offer situation was sluggish in weft knitting and spandex demand released slowly.

Outlook
Spandex market can maintain weak and discounts possibility exists.
