Germany : Hugo Boss To Produce Apparel In Turkey

Hugo Boss a Germany based fashion giant announced the plan to make women's apparel and sportswear at its plant in Turkey.

The company, which sells its fashions in more than 5,000 stores in 108 countries, said its plant in Izmir, western Turkey, employs 1,400 people and currently produces only men’s clothing.

Board member Werner Lackas did not reveal if the new investment will lead to new production lines being set up or if they simply replace existing lines.
