Viscose staple fiber
VSF sales presented modest today. Though producers quoted VSF 1.5D steadily at 23500yuan/mt, sporadic deals were mainly concluded. Many big contracts were signed before, so there was no high buying interest lately. Downstream plants were not active to take in goods at 23500-24000yuan/mt. There were divergences towards the outlook and participants adopted a wait-and-see approach temporarily.
Viscose filament yarn
VFY plants were eager to keep price stabilization but there were favorable policies in negotiation due to thin trade lately. Bright VFY 300D was discussed at 42500-43000yuan/mt.
