ACN
China domestic ACN market plunged in H2 May as suppliers frequently lowered offers, down 1500yuan/mt during May 16-25, with subdued sentiment and dull trades. Trading sentiment improved in month end, prices stabilized and even rebounded a little.
Acrylic fiber
China acrylic fiber market was stable with sluggish sales. Running rates fluctuated as some producers underwent turnarounds.
In import market, June nominations for differential fibers were $50/mt higher (Japan Mitsubishi and Toyobo), while ordinary fibers were adjusted down by $70/mt (Taiwan Donghualong).
Acrylic yarn
Acrylic yarn plants did not get sufficient new orders in hand and mainly produced to fill previous orders. Some plants saw inventories piling up. But prices stayed flat due to steady acrylic fiber.
