The polyester yarn price is mainly steady in Jiangsu Market. The local manufacturers all keep the quotations unchanged in Shengze. Now a direct spinning manufacturer quoted FDY 50D/72F for 17,400 Yuan/ton and FDY 75D/72F for 15,800 Yuan/ton. Another melt spinning manufacturer quoted light web DTY 75D/144F for 19,500 Yuan/ton, DTY 100D/144F light web for 18,200 Yuan/ton and DTY 150D/288F light web for 17,000 Yuan/ton. Manufacturers all reported that although the sales volume fell back these days, there was scarcely any stock pressure and the storage was around one-week amount. The polyester price is in stalemate in Taicang. One of the local manufacturers quoted FDY 50D/24F for 15,900 Yuan/ton by cash and POY 150D/144F for 15,000 Yuan/ton by cash. Manufacturers reported that the storage was around 10-day and they had no pressure.
The polyester yarn price is steady overall. A local POY manufacturer in Xiao Shan unchanged most of the products and only increased some specifications by 100 Yuan/ton. Now they quoted POY 75D/72F for 15,700 Yuan/ton and 150D/48F low-stretch for 16,300 Yuan/ton. One manufacturer in Tong Xiang generally decreased the products’quotations by 100 Yuan/ton. Now they quoted DTY 150D/48F for 16,050 Yuan/ton and POY 150D/144F for 15,050 Yuan/ton. The manufacturer said that yesterday’s production-marketing stayed at 90%.
At present, the production-marketing of the polyester yarn manufacturers is good. Downstream weaving manufacturers is successionally stocking up. Although the buying force of the downstream weaving manufacturers is weakening, it makes the production-marketing stay at a nice level. Therefore, it is predicted that the polyester yarn price will have a run of slight decrement.
