Chemical fiber textile industry sales value increases 24.9 percent on year |

China's chemical fiber textile industry (enterprises of above-designed size) achieved sales value of 26.96 billion Yuan from January to May this year, representing an increase of 24.9 percent year on year. However some industries including cotton, nylon, and rayon have been affected by unilateral decline in raw material prices, some enterprises start to limit production, their efficiency continues to decline, even witness some losses. Export orders received by the textile industry have been significantly affected by the instability in the Middle East, the important export destination of the industry. The industry (enterprises above designed size) realized sales value of 28.21 billion Yuan from January to May this year, showing an increase of 19.9 percent year on year.
