Upstream Market：

At the close of Aug.9^th, the price of COMEX light crude oil futures sank to 79.30 dollars per barrel. The price of Brent Oil futures in London market sank to 102.57 dollars per barrel .While the price of Asia PX was stable at 1513 dollars per ton FOB Korea, Europe PX was stable at 1530 dollars per ton FOB Rotterdam.

PTA: the PTA domestic market is weak. The suppliers offer at 9600 RMB/T. The abroad market goes down badly. The Taiwan cargo offers 1240-1245 dollars/ton, and Korea cargo offers 1220 dollars/ton.

MEG: the MEG market is down too. The domestic offer is down to 9500 RMB/T, the overseas offer is at 1230 USD/T.

 

Downstream Market:

Polyester spun yarn: The polyester spun yarn in east China market is consolidated. The mainstream factories quote 1.4D*38mm direct spinning at 13000－13100 RMB/T. Meanwhile, the south China market comes to a deadlock. The offer is around 13100-13200 RMB/T.

 

PET Bottle Chip: the domestic market of PET Bottle Chip goes down, mainstream price from the main manufactories is around 12700-12800 RMB/T. The overseas market is weak today, the offer is around 1700-1710 USD/T (FOB China main ports). The trading atmosphere is flat, and the practical negotiation is very rare.

Rayon Stable Fibers: Rayon Stable Fibers market is going up to18400-18600 RMB/T.
