The polyester yarn price continues to be in deadlock in Jiangsu Market. The quotations keep steady in Shengze market. A local melt spinning manufacturer quoted the acceptance price of FDY 75D/144F for 16900 Yuan/ton. Another local direct spinning manufacturer quoted FDY 50D/24F for 17600 Yuan/ton. The third manufacturer quoted FDY 50D/48F for 16600 Yuan/ton by cash. The polyester yarn price slightly went weak in Taicang market. Now one of the local manufacturers decreased routine POY products by 100 Yuan/ton and quoted FDY 50D/24F for 16900 Yuan/ton by cash and POY 150D/144F for 15200 Yuan/ton by cash remittance and POY 75D/36F for 15400 Yuan/ton by cash. Manufacturers reported that the inquiring atmosphere was weak in the early market.
The polyester yarn price goes down in Zhejiang Market. A local POY manufacturer in Xiao Shan generally decreased the price by 100 Yuan/ton and quoted POY 150D/144F for 14910 Yuan/ton and POY 75D/36F for 14460 Yuan/ton. Another local manufacturer stabilized the quotations and quoted FDY 50D/24F for 16800 Yuan/ton and DTY 150D/48F low-stretch for 16300 Yuan/ton. The polyester yarn price is steady in Shao Xing market. One of the leading manufactures in Shao Xing quoted FDY 50D/24F for 16400 Yuan/ton and FDY 150D/96F for 14110 Yuan/ton. The products’ prices go weak in Tong Xiang; now one of the local manufacturers slightly decreased the quotations. The reduced FDY products by 100 Yuan/ton, DTY products by 50-100 Yuan/ton and some of POY products by 100 Yuan/ton. Now they quoted DTY 150D/144F for 17150 Yuan/ton. Manufacturers reported that yesterday’s production-marketing fell back to 70-80%.
