China Filament Weaving Association Set up

On Aug. 18, China Filament Weaving Association will host the first members’ meetings in Shengze, Jiangsu, according to our reporter. That said, China filament weaving industry has its own professional association.

 

The textile industry has now recognized the potential of the filament weaving sector as the growth engine for the industry. Filament weaving industry is one of the very few sectors of the textile industry, that is growing at a very fast pace, especially in China. Over the past 20 years, the industry has overcome serious difficulties and has made new developments in the fields of filature, yarns
imitating, printing and dyeing technology.

 

China Textile Industry Association data shows that over the past decade, China's chemical fiber filament weaving industry developed rapidly, production from 2000 to more than 40 one hundred million meters by 2010, rising nearly 300 million meters, the annual average increase of 20% or more.
