China's 17th International Chemical Fiber Conference is scheduled to open in Wujiang, Jiangsu Province from Sep. 1 to 2. The conference was initiated by China National Textile & Apparel Council, with the support of the China Chemical Fiber Industry Association, the China Textile International Exchange Center and the Wujiang municipal government.
The conference's theme this year is Transformation & Upgrading, Green Low-carbon, Innovation, Impetus for Innovation and Sustainable Development.
The conference will discuss industry reform, materials such as crude oil and cotton, market forecast, industry innovation and the industry development plan in the country's 12th five-year-plan period.
As one part of the conference, the Development Forum will discuss the major developmental task in the country's 12th five-year-plan period. Besides, there are other five forums, namely Market Prospect and Development, High Precision Imitation Fibre and Textiles, High Technology Fiber & Compounds, Industrial Silk & Industrial Textiles and Regenerated Fibre and Cycling Economy
With the fast growth of China's chemical fiber industry, the conference has become an important forum for global chemical fiber producers. Low end of the industry chain, sales agencies and industrial experts will participate the conference.
