For the influence of feedstock cost increase, poly yarn price continue upward, with most plants quotation increased. Early of the week, poly yarn quotations in China market kept unchanged. Its price turned upward in the second half of the week. With the influence of crude oil price increase, quotations are mostly increased.
FDY quotation increase is relatively bigger, its increase amount is around 200-400CNY/t. In detail, semi-bright FDY fine denier series products sale weakened, while dull FDY products still sales well, such as FDY 48D/48F, 68D/48F and etc. At the weekend of the week, FDY50D/24F six-month acceptance price is quoted around 17800CNY/t.
DTY price is mostly increased by a hundred China Yuan, with individually increased by 200CNY. In detail, DTY high F market demand is low, but conventional products sales well, among which, 75D/36F is the best seller. DTY150D/144F acceptance price is 17600CNY/t.
POY sales well this week. Most plants quotation increased by 200-300CNY/t. In detail, POY high F products sale is on average, while the normal specifications sales well. Assembly POY sale is considerable. POY75D/72F cash take is quoted at 16100CNY/t.
Now inventory amount is universally low, besides, suppliers with hold the goods, thus poly yarn plants production and marketing rate is around the balance level. Now most plants FDY and POY stock amount is in less than a week. Some plants even have now stock at all, while DTY stock is relatively high, with its amount of 10 days.
Although upstream feedstock cost is high, weaving plants busy season is depressed. Some plants hold a negative view on aftermarket, which will play some influence on the poly yarn purchasing ability. Therefore, in the short term, poly yarn price will mount high under its background of low stock and high cost.
