This week the China cotton market goes up slightly. The price of Cotton lint Positive 4 is stable at 19000-19300 RMB/T, increased 300-500 Yuan compared with last week. Imported cotton accordingly increased to 20,000-20,500. Cotton lint Positive 3 quotes 19500-19800 RMB/T.The cotton is now in. The cotton market is full of expectation, but brings some worry. Most enterprises because of funding tension affect the hoarding ability. New Year cotton consumption situation remains to be seen, no need no situation, so the latter trend of cotton should pay attention to market demand.
The downstream cotton yarn market goes up slightly. Now the mainstream price of 40S 100% cotton yarn quote 28300 RMB/T, up 200 RMB compared with last week, but the trading atmosphere is flat. The rayon yarn market is stable. Knitting 30S quote 24500-25200 RMB/T, up 700 RMB compared with last week. The polyester yarn market goes up too. Qianqing Market is mainly stable. The mainstream price of 32S woven polyester yarn is 18200-18400 yuan / ton. Under the strong support of raw material’s going up, prices are moving warm up. Overall the market performance is insufficient, because that the actual consumption of downstream market is little progress, export orders is rare, so the yarn market has not completely recovered, later period still will maintain the consolidation pattern.
