LONDON - Made-By’s 2011 International Annual Event, which takes place in London on 13 October will feature speakers from several leading global brands.
Following the key note address from Natalie Jeremijenko, Artist and Engineer, Associate Professor of Visual Art, NYU Steinhardt School, delegates will hear from Craig Smith, brand communication director of Made-By’s partner brand Ted Baker, who will discuss the ‘Brand’s perspective’ and Burak Cakmak, former CSR director for Gucci Group and head of CSR for Gap Inc. European Office.
The event will also include a number of breakout sessions covering a range of topical issues in the sustainability sector including the Social Group, which will discuss the extent to which productivity improvement projects a solution to excessive overtime and other social issues in garment factories; the Environmental group, which will look at The 'Dirty Laundry' report by Greenpeace under the theme - ‘More of the same or a real step change for the industry?’; and the Communications Group, which will explore ‘The Future of Sustainability Reporting: Challenges, Opportunities and Trends’.
