Shandong Shengfengyang to Invest in PET Film Project

Since end-Aug, 2011, Shandong Shengfengyang Co., Ltd. has planned to invest US$ 99.8 million to build a R&D base for special-type PET films with 90 kt/y capacity in Weifang high-tech zone.

The project will bring in the most advanced technology of producing films, with the advantages of high efficiency, excellent quality and low cost, whose products will be widely used in electronic, electricity and solar industry, including basic materials of TFT-LCD and Shrink films. Once put into production, it may reduce the imports of high-quality PET films dramatically from other countries.
