MEG: Today, MEG is quoted 9000-9050 Yuan/ton in Jiangsu. The buying offering is around 8900-8950 Yuan/ton and the discussions are around 8950-9000 Yuan/ton. 

 

PTA: The PTA price is steady in North China. Suppliers quoted the goods for 9050-9100 Yuan/ton. It is lack of demand in the downstream market. Partial bidding prices are around 8950 Yuan/ton and the practical discussions are around 9000-9050 Yuan/ton.

 

PSF: Leading quotations of polyester staple fiber market in South China dropped down; among which, 1.4D*38mm direct PSF is now quoted 12300-12400 Yuan/ton.

 

PET Chips: The polyester chips price is steady in domestic market. Leading manufacturers’ quotations stayed at 12000-12300 Yuan/ton temporarily. The downstream bidding price was around 12000 Yuan/ton and the discussions in real trades adjusted around 12100-12200 Yuan/ton. The trading atmosphere was dull and the real discussions are few.

 

PFY: The polyester yarn market went weak in Jiangsu today. Now a local melt spinning manufacturers in Shengze quoted DTY 75D/72F light web for 18100 Yuan/ton.The polyester yarn price also dropped in Zhejiang market. One of the POY manufacturers in Xiao Shan decreased the products by 100 Yuan/ton generally. Now POY 75D/36F is quoted 12900 Yuan/ton by cash.As both feedstocks prices and sales fell, the polyester yarn price is expected to be weak recently.
