Upstream Market: Ended by the close on November 2, the futures price of New York crude oil delivered by December increased 32 cents to 92.51 dollars; the increasing rate was 0.35%.

 

MEG: In the market, MEG is quoted 8700-8750 Yuan/ton today. The buying offering is around 8600-8700 Yuan/ton and the discussions stay at 8700 Yuan/ton temporarily.

 

PET Bottle Chips: Influenced by the dropping of feedstocks, polyester bottle chips price slumped in overseas market. Leading domestic manufacturers quoted 1530-1550 dollars/ton. The downstream bidding price is around 1500 dollars/ton and the practical discussions are around 1510-1530 dollars/ton. The trading atmosphere is weak on market.

 

PFY: A local direct spinning manufacturer in Shengze decreased the prices dramatically. FDY products are cut 300 Yuan/ton generally while DTY products lost 100 Yuan/ton. Now they quoted FDY 50D/24F for 15300 Yuan/ton. The price also fell in Zhejiang market. One of the leading manufacturers in Xiao Shan quoted FDY 50D/24F for 14800 Yuan/ton.
