Upstream Market: Sinopec announced the settlement price of MEG November contract, which is 8700 Yuan/ton with 3-month acceptance and short-trip delivery. This price is 850 Yuan/ton less than the October contract price.

 

PTA: Today, PTA futures close down in Zhengzhou Commodity Exchange. Contract 1205 closed at 7844 Yuan/ton, which lost 102 Yuan/ton compared with the close price yesterday.

 

PET Bottle Chips: Today, the polyester bottle chips price kept steady in domestic market. Leading manufacturers in China quoted the goods for 11300 Yuan/ton by cash. The downstream bidding price is around 11000-11100 Yuan/ton. The practical discussions are around 11100-11200 Yuan/ton. The trading atmosphere was dull.

 

PFY:  The polyester yarn price is steady in Jiangsu. A leading direct spinning manufacturer in Shengze decreased FDY products and quoted FDY 50D/24F for 13500 Yuan/ton. The polyester yarn price is unchanged in Zhejiang market. A local manufacturer in Xiao Shan stabilized the quotations and quoted FDY 150D/96F for 12000 Yuan/ton.
