Dec 1st Daily Review on Polyester Prices

Upstream market: November 30, futures price of light crude oil delivered by January next year broke 100 to 100.36 dollars/bbl by the close in NYMEX. Today, small orders of MEG are quoted 8100 Yuan/ton in Jiangsu. The buying offering is around 8000-8050 Yuan/ton and the discussions are predicted around 8100 Yuan/ton.

 

PSF: Today, leading quotations of polyester staple fiber slightly increased in South China; among which, 1.4D*38mm direct spinning PSF is quoted 10750-10850.

 

PET Bottle Chips: Today, polyester bottle chips price is dull in domestic market. Leading manufacturers in China quoted 11100-11300 Yuan/ton. The downstream bidding price is around 11000-11050 Yuan/ton and the practical discussions are around 11100-11200 Yuan/ton by cash and without delivery. The trading atmosphere is weak.

 

PFY: The polyester yarn price is steady in Jiangsu. A leading direct spinning manufacturer in Shengze quoted DTY 150D/48F for 14700 Yuan/ton with 6-month acceptance. The polyester yarn price rebounded in Zhejiang market. A local manufacturer in Xiao Shan increased FDY products by 100 Yuan/ton and quoted FDY 66D/24F for 12900 Yuan/ton.
