Asian PX, PTA & PSF prices decline (Global)

Paraxylene (PX) prices dropped down in the Asian region. In S E Asian market, PX prices plunged down and were offered in the range of US$ 1455/ton to US$ 1460/ton. In F E Asian region, PX prices went down and were assessed at US$ 1440/ton. PX imported from Taiwanese market surged up and were quoted in the range US$ 1470/ton to US$ 1475/ton.

PTA prices declined in the Asian market. In S E Asian market, PTA prices went down and were assessed in the range of US$ 1070 to US$ 1075/ton. In F E Asian market, PX prices were quoted at US$ 1070/ton. PTA imported from Taiwanese market went down and were assessed in the range of US$ 1085/ton to US$ 1090/ton. In Chinese domestic market, PTA prices plunged down and were quoted in the range RMB 8275/ton to RMB 8325/ton.

Ethylene prices followed a mixed trend in Asia. In S E Asian market, Ethylene prices declined and were quoted in the range of US$ 1065/ton to US$ 1070/ton. In F E Asian region, Ethylene prices remained steady and were offered at US$ 1140/ton.

In U.S.A market, Ethylene prices stayed steady and were assessed in the range of 51.00 cents/pound to 51.50 cents/pound. Ethylene prices stayed steady in European international and domestic market, and were quoted at US$ 1265/ton and ?995/ton, respectively.

MEG prices went down in Asian countries. In S E Asian region, MEG prices dropped down and were offered at US$ 970/ton. In China market, MEG prices surged up in the range of US$ 990/ton to US$ 995/ton. In Chinese domestic market, MEG prices dropped down and were assessed in the range RMB 7325/ton to RMB 7375/ton.

In S E Asian countries, BG PET Chips prices remained unchanged in the range of US$ 1450/ton to US$ 1460/ton. In F E Asian market, selling offers were around US$ 1450/ton for export goods. In Chinese market, BG PET Chip prices went down and were quoted at RMB 10500/ton.

In Korean markets, FG PET Chips prices stayed steady and were assessed in the range of US$ 1290/ton to US$ 1300/ton. In Indian market, FOB based price was quoted in the range of US$ 1340/ton to US$ 1345/ton. In Chinese market, FG PET Chip prices stayed stable and hovered in the range of RMB 10175/ton to RMB 10225/ton.

PSF prices dropped down in Asia. In F E Asian market, PSF prices were witnessed at US$ 1555/ton. In S E Asian market, PSF selling offers were at US$ 1455/ton. In Chinese domestic market, PSF prices plunged down and were assessed in the range of RMB 10875/ton to RMB 10925/ton.

In Chinese domestic market, Polyester DTY and FDY prices stayed steady and were marked at RMB 12400/ton and RMB 11050/ton, respectively while POY prices declined slightly to RMB 11000/ton In export market, offers for POY and DTY dropped down and were quoted at US$ 1485/ton and US$ 1670/ton, respectively while FDY price stayed stable at US$ 1480/ton.
