India : Indian Rayon Net Profit Jumps 42% in Q1

Indian Rayon’s first-quarter net profit jumped 42% on the back of high realisations from its carbon black business and lower interest costs. The company posted a net profit of Rs 21.6 crore for the quarter ended June 30, ’03, compared with Rs 15.1 crore in the same year-ago period
