Hubei Will Eliminate 150 Million Meters of Printing & Dyeing Capacity

It is reported from Hubei Economy and Information Technology Commission that Hubei textile industry will speed up the step of eliminating obsolete production capacity and promoting restructuring and upgrading. It will further eliminate a printing and dyeing capacity of 150 million meters and 2 conventional viscose staple production lines with annual capacity of 20,000 tons based on a cut down of 300 million meters of printing and dyeing capacity last year.

The target in 2013 will involve 8 printing & dyeing, home-textiles, towel and chemical fiber enterprises, in which, Xiangyang Shuangjia Printing & Dyeing Plant will scrap 3 Model 74 production lines with a total capacity of 40 million meters, 17 sets of equipment and 8 alkali tanks of 100-300 m3; Huanggang Shengang Textile Co., Ltd. will eliminate one Model 74 production line with annual capacity of 30 million meters and 27 sets of equipment; Hubei Yabi Home-textiles Co., Ltd. will eliminate one Model 74 production line with annual capacity of 10 million meters and 9 sets equipment; Yidu Jade Rabbit Towel Plant will eliminate 10 million meters and 12 sets of equipment; Zigui Jisheng Weaving & Dyeing Co., Ltd. will eliminate 12.95 million meters and 15 sets of equipment; Jiangzhou Jiaye Printing & Dyeing Co., Ltd. will eliminate 25 million meters and 12 sets of equipment and Hubei Chemical Fiber Co., Ltd. will eliminate 2 conventional viscose staple production lines with annual capacity of 20,000 tons and 34 sets of equipment.
