Established by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), FASHIONALLY.com is a perfect platform for local fashion industry to share information and creative ideas. FASHIONALLY.com will stage LUV HK Fashion in July which will feature a series of fashion activities.
One of the key highlights is the activation of “Hong Kong Fashion Map” for fashionistas to search the locations and information of retail stores offering products from Hong Kong designers or local fashion brands.
With the support from local fashion brands, fashion bloggers, renowned hair stylist and international makeup brand, LUV HK Fashion event will bring fashion parades, seminars, hairstyle and makeup demonstrations to the “HKTDC Hong Kong Fashion Week for Spring/Summer” to promote Hong Kong fashion trend to overseas buyers.
"Hong Kong Fashion Map” will be launched on 8 July (the first day of the 20th Hong Kong Fashion Week for Spring/Summer). The map successfully recruited various retail stores offering products from Hong Kong designers or local fashion brands, namely AMANPAPA Bible Storyland, Amelie Street, CECILIA MA, Dusty, Heaven Please, HKTDC Design Gallery, M&M, Mini Point, MKWS, SELEVEN GALLERY, Shop des Créateurs, TAKA Studioshop, Timbee Loand Voulez Vous. Shop locations, brand introduction and latest product photos can be found on this new feature.
As a guide to Hong Kong fashion trend, more retail shops will be included in the map to promote local design. Retail stores offering products from Hong Kong designers or local fashion brands, may participate “Hong Kong Fashion Map” by simple steps (click “add shop” on the upper-right corner on the HK FashionMap page and fill in details).
The 20th Hong Kong Fashion Week for Spring/Summer will take place during 8-11 July at the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre, gathering exhibitors all around the globe and showcasing the latest brand designs and collections from different part of the world.
LUV HK Fashion events will take place in the Fashion Week, including an unique house show, FASHIONALLY COLLECTION #2, which showcases the latest collections of 14 past winners and finalists of Hong Kong Young Fashion Designers’ Contest (YDC).
Ryuko Lau, Senior Artist of M.A.C Cosmetics and veteran hair stylist Marco Chan will demonstrate the latest makeup and hairstyle trends while Cindy Ko, fashion blogger will demonstrate mix and matching fashion items.
Other fashion parades and seminars will also be organised during Hong Kong Fashion Week for buyers to gain insights into market trends. International trend forecasters including WGSN from the UK, Fashion Snoops and Stylesight from the US and Peclers Paris from France will unveil the coming trends in fashion and lifestyle.
