Exhibition space up 30% at Intertextile Pavilion Shenzhen

As the Southern China textiles market grows, so does participation in Intertextile Pavilion Shenzhen at the Shenzhen International Trade Fair for Apparel Fabrics and Accessories. The 2013 fair, to be held from 11 – 13 July , will feature nearly 600 exhibitors from 11 countries and regions at Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center.

They will exhibit fabrics for ladieswear, casual wear and functional wear / sportswear, as well as accessories, across 22,500 sqm in halls 6, 7 and 8 – an over 30% increase in exhibition space compared to last year. More than 13,000 visitors attended the fair in 2012 and it is expected that the fair will receive widespread support again this year.

International and domestic pavilions add variety of product features to the fair

For the first time, the fair hosts India and Korea pavilions offering the best from their own countries with other exhibitors coming from China, Hong Kong, Japan, Pakistan, Singapore, Spain, Switzerland, Taiwan and the UK.

The India pavilion, organised by Texprocil, the Cotton Textiles Export Promotion Council of India, will display yarn to suit every end-use including cotton yarn, woven greige fabrics and specialty knit fabrics.

While the Korea pavilion, organised by the Korea Fashion Textile Association (KFTA), will showcase functional woven fabrics, linen-like fabrics made from rayon, fabrics using rayon-blend georgette fibres, washable georgette and leno weave fabrics, and cupro fabric shirts.

An added variety of the fair is the domestic Shengze Pavilion (from Jiangsu province) with man-made fabrics for ladieswear located in hall 7.

Trends for Spring / Summer 2014 to be presented in the Trend Forum

In addition to the latest fabrics and accessories, Intertextile Pavilion Shenzhen will provide visitors with insights and inspiration for Spring / Summer 2014 trends. The Trend Forum, located in hall 7, will present the fabric, colour and texture trends for next season grouped into four themes: Synesthesia, Isscross, Materiality and Artifice. There visitors can also find samples of exhibitors’ fabrics within each themed area.

Enabling visitors to get more out of their trip to Shenzhen, this fair runs concurrently with the 13th China (Shenzhen) International Brand Clothing & Accessories Fair in halls 1 and 9. And a fashion show will be held in hall 5, allowing buyers to see exhibitors’ fabrics in real-world applications on the catwalk.
