GU, a UNIQLO sister brand offering fun and fashionable apparel at great value prices, announces the opening of its first overseas store.
The GU UNIQLO Shanghai Store will be located inside the world's largest UNIQLO global flagship store on Huaihai Zhong Lu, a premier shopping street in Shanghai. GU's first overseas location is set to open on Monday, September 30, 2013.
"I am thrilled that just seven years after the birth of the GU brand in Japan, we are able to open our first overseas store. The continuing growth and success of GU draws on the expertise and platforms developed by the Fast Retailing Group," said Osamu Yunoki, CEO of G.U. Co., Ltd.
