China's clothing exports grew 13.5%year-on-year from January to July

According to Customs statistics, from January to July, China’s total exports of textile yarn, fabrics and textile products amounted to USD 60,700 billion, up by 11.5% year-on-year, cumulative exports of apparel and clothing accessories amounted to USD 82,900 million, up by 13.5% year-on-year. In July, the value of China’s exports of textile yarn, fabrics and textile products was USD 9,600 million, the value of exports of apparel and clothing accessories was USD 18,000 million.

From January to July, China’s total imports for 210,000 tons of synthetic textile fiber, up by 13.5% year-on-year, imports value up by 9.4% year-on-year. China’s total imports for 234,000 tons of synthetic fiber yarn, down 2.6% year-on-year, imports value up by 1.1% year-on-year. In July, China’s imports for 40000 tons of synthetic fiber and 34000 tons of synthetic fiber yarn, amounted to USD 110 million and USD 180 million, respectively.
