Miu Miu takes another step forward with its China expansion plans with the opening of two stores in the Charter Shopping Center of Changchun.
Both stores represent Miu Miu’s sophisticated aesthetic and are focused on bags and accessories or ready to wear and footwear, respectively.
The glass and metal lined façades are set with light boxes and polished-steel edged windows which create an evocative glimpse inside the store.
The project, designed by architect Roberto Baciocchi, balances the brand’s iconic elements -the classic damask fabric and full-length mirrors- with new and unexpected details such as display niches made of polished and reflective cellular steel.
The matt black granite flooring, combined with the light diffused by the ceiling -which is also made of reflective cellular steel- create an engaging and refined atmosphere.
