Xintang town, located to the east of Guangzhou city and to the south of Zengcheng city in China, continues to remain the largest denim garment production and export centre in China.
The town has been awarded titles like ‘town for denim garment of China’, ‘town providing the best developing environment for private-owned enterprises’, and ‘the first base for external trade from Guangdong province’.
After nearly three decades of development, Xintang town now has over 1,000 famous denim apparel brands. The town also has adequate supporting facilities and advanced technology.
To complete the production chain from manufacturing to selling and pushing the transformation of Xintang denim garment industry, the town has constructed the Xinzhou environmental industrial park, Xizhou environmental industrial park and Xintang private-owned garment industrial park. In addition, the town has also built three public technical service platforms such as R&D, inspection and information transaction.
China produces the most number of denim clothing in the world, and Xintang manufactures the most number of denim garments in China.
Xintang denim apparel products will be displayed at the Jeans Section at the 115th China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair) – Phase 3 to be held from May 1-5, 2014.
The Canton Fair, held biannually in Guangzhou every spring and autumn, has a history of 55 years since 1957. The Fair is a comprehensive one with the longest history, the highest level, the largest scale, the most complete exhibit variety, the broadest distribution of overseas buyers and the greatest business turnover in China.
