United Kingdom : Cityfax To Launch its Own Tie Brand

Cityfax Limited, the largest supplier of men’s fashion ties to UK high street retailers, is setting up a new brand business division to launch its own tie brand.

The new hand finished, luxury brand will be launched in September 2003 and is believed to be the first premium fashion tie brand ever to be launched by a UK tie specialist. It will be sold through quality retail independents.

The new brand will run alongside the company’s successful and established contract business, which produces some two million ties annually.

Production will take place in Northamptonshire and Wales using silk fabric sourced from a UK weaver.
