Canada : Wal-Mart Launches "Canadian Idol" Apparel Line

Wal-Mart Canada has launched its "Canadian Idol" apparel line as it looks to cash in on the hit TV show.

The Ontario-based retailer has teamed up with Montreal-based
manufacturer Kidd 2000 for a domestically-produced line which includes a range of sportswear for children and adults along with girls'' sleepwear.

With price points under C$20, the line''s designers are hoping some of the two million people who tune into the "talent" show every week as they look to turn into one of the country''s biggest brands.
