When Kroy and CMT introduced a superior systemofchlorination control,they eliminated the inconsistencies associatedwith earlier wool shrink proofing processes.That's why today.Kroy's method of continuous wool top shrink proofing provides such superior results together with additional advantages including improved colour and soft handle,better dyeing properties and reduced pilling especially for fine sweaters,hosiery,underwear and knitting yarns.

A typical installation incorporates Kroy Deep-immersion technology for chlorination in a turn-key package that can be individually specified for the chemical treatment of wool tops.These treatments include shrink-resist,machine-washable,Total Easy Care and handle-modification treatments such as Soft Lustre.

Equipment is controlled electronically using inverters and is operated from acentral control panel allowing the operator to adjust a variety of parameters to optimise the process for each particular end-product.

The process can be specified to use chlorine derived from liquefied gas or from sulphuric acid and sodium hypochlorite.

Fume extraction and fume-scrubbing equipment is supplied to ensure operator safety and to satisfy stringent environmental standards
