This machine is a result of optimum design based on Model GA615 shuttle loom and user’s requirements, and it has absorbed the advantages of other rapier looms of the same kind. It is used to weave cotton fabrics, wool fabrics, silk, chemical fiber and blended fabrics. With a reasonable and simple structure, and easy operation and maintenance, its speed rises by 30-40% and its noise lowers by 10-15%db as compared with shuttle loom. The framework of this loom is strengthened and has wider applicability. It is suitable for the weaving of not only light and ordinary fabrics but also various thick and heavy, high-density and color-weaving fabrics. In addition, the machine improves the quality of fabrics as compared with shuttle loom and other rapier looms of the same kind and has high ratio of function to price. So this machine is a popularized rapier loom conforming to our nationality. Structure Characteristics: 1. Shedding device: Adopting Model GT221 dobby shedding mechanism ensures stable movement of heald frame and is helpful to change fabric varieties. 2. Color selecting and weft stopping device: weft mixing or four-color and six-color weft selection; weft stopping by piezoelectric sensor; when stapling or pickouts occurs, the induction is delicate and the loom rapidly stops. 3. Weft insertion device: electronic weft storage; four-color (six-color) free weft insertion; having gone through weft accumulator, tension clamp piece, weft detector and color selecting pole, weft is led into the shed by weft giver, finishes connection at 180℃, and finally is carried out and set free by weft receiver. 4. Beating device: four-bar linkage weft beating; 72T/36T gear drive cambered axle; batten movement driven by linkage bolt to finish weft beating. 5. Let-off device: Side force type active let-off device with high drive accuracy ensures constant warp tension and great scope of weft density; it is convenient to install and maintain because drive parts are all external. 6. Take-up device: active clearance take-up; pendulum seat installed on slay sword drives link bar and detent, and then worm gear drives licker-in to realize take-up. 7. Drive device: adopting electromagnetic clutch and brake to start and brake the machine; the stopping position of loom can be adjusted at will according to weaving requirements; accurate and stable drive, low noise. 8. Framework: The machine can be added a piece of mid-wallboard based on the former one, which makes the complete machine firmer and the usability of varieties greater. 9. Form of weft accumulator frame: The machine is divided into two kinds: out-set and in-set; adopting the form of in-set weft accumulator frame reduces the site area.
