| I am searching for a textile mill who will be able to weave smaller quantities of costuming brocade fabrics. Generally, I use an acetate warp (primarily black) and use one color for the pattern (white, red, purple, green, etc). The fabric would need to be at least 54 inches in width and I would need quantities of 1000 yards at a time. What I'm hoping to do, is to locate a supplier who will allow me to order 1000 yards of a black warp, then stitch 50-100 yard pieces in the red, green, white, blue, etc. on the black warp, totalling 1000 yards. So basically, I'd have 1000 total yards, all with a black background, but different pattern colors (all one pattern). Does this make sense? I can supply samples and or photos of what is needed, at your request |
